Get ready for an exciting day of trekking, cultural encounters, and natural beauty with our full-day tour.
Start your day with a 2-hour trek through the Thai jungle, where you’ll take in the lush surroundings and make your way to the Lahu village. Here, you’ll get a chance to meet the local people and experience their way of life.
Next, prepare for an exciting session of bamboo rafting on the Mae Tang River, where you’ll float along the scenic waterway, soaking in the serene atmosphere.
Afterward, enjoy a delicious Thai lunch, refueling your energy for the rest of the day.
End the adventure with a visit to the breathtaking Mok fa Waterfall, a perfect spot to relax and take in the natural beauty of the region.
This tour is ideal for those looking to experience the best of nature and local culture in just one day!
7.00 AM | Pick up at your hotel. We will drive for approximately one and hour drive to our departure point to begin our trek. |
9.00 AM | Begin our two-hours trek to Lahu village. Walk through luscious jungle broken by patches of banana trees and crops. Listen to the bird song whilst you climb the hill into the canopy of trees. |
Enjoy a break at the Lahu Village where you are met with a warm welcome from the local tribe. | |
11.30 AM | AM Board a traditional bamboo raft for one hour or two-hour (it’s depends of the seasons) journey along the Mae Tang River* Look out for buffalo bathing in the mud and enjoy the bursts of colour from passing butterflies. If you fancy a refreshing dip roll off the raft and let the current take you along. |
After bamboo rafting enjoy a delicious authentic lunch prepared by the villagers all served up in a traditional wooden cabin. | |
2.30 PM | Relax at the spectacular Mok Fa waterfall and enjoy the beautiful scenery in a peaceful setting. Take a refreshing dip under the waterfall. |
5.00 PM | Drop off at your hotel. |
**On our bamboo raft, we have a sturdy tripod to hang our bags. We also provide a waterproof bag, for your convenience, to protect your clothes and valuable items.
** The river rafting on special made bamboo rafts through the jungle is an exciting adventure. A combination of calm slow floating water and more wild white water. Possible to swim next to the raft if weather permit.
